What should I do when the temperature of dry transformer rises sharply during operation?

Release time:2024-10-09      Number of clicks:40

We have occasionally encountered such a situation: when the dry transformer is working, the temperature will suddenly rise sharply, what is the reason? Is there any harm?

Dry transformer in the work of the temperature is also constantly rising, but this is a continuous rise and a slow process, for the dry transformer, the temperature rise is external work to achieve, but sometimes the dry transformer has a sharp rise in temperature process, making the performance of the dry transformer constantly disturbed. Breakdowns are also on the rise.

When such a failure occurs in dry transformers, we can not be careless, because this situation has the impact of explosion and fire. So in this situation, how can we determine the cause and solve it accordingly?

1, short circuit between the core silicon steel pieces

Due to external damage or insulation aging and other reasons, the insulation between the silicon steel pieces is damaged, and the eddy current is large, resulting in local overheating.

2, tap-changer contact is not *

Due to insufficient pressure at the tap changer contact point or pollution at the contact point, the contact resistance is large and the contact is hot, especially after switching the tap or when the transformer is overloaded, it is more likely to cause the tap changer contact is not * * and heat.

3, coil turn short circuit

The interturn short circuit reduces the number of turns of the coil and closes the short circuit circulation, resulting in high temperature at the short circuit. Serious inter-turn short circuit causes the oil temperature to rise, and the oil at the short circuit makes a "grunting" sound.
